Since starting this blog and my Twitter account, there have been events on the internet that make me question why I have an online presence. These events have been mostly around the sex blogging community, and while I feel that some of them deserve the attention they got, some of them I feel are a storm in a teacup situation.
I don’t claim to be the most-inclusive person on the planet, we can all make mistakes in what we do and say to people both online and in person.
What does frustrate me, is that the latest issue to have surfaced appears to be an honest mistake, and an over analysis by others.
If everything I write is going to be policed by the “thought police” well f*ck me dead. We may as well just keep our thoughts to ourselves and not write them down if, god forbid, we aren’t allowed to make an honest mistake before being chastised openly on the internet.
That’s why I have a no-comment policy here on the blog, not because I’m afraid of the comments, but because if I can’t share my thoughts, in my place, on my terms, and you can’t keep your snarky comments to yourself, it is easier to just never interact with each other in a written form.
